Last night Article left the safety of Sheffield and went to the real northern town of Manchester fro the the opening night of Black Rainbows at the Carhartt gallery. Being a tad disorganised we managed to catch only the last 20 minutes, and missed the free beer and music. Nonetheless, the works were amazing and the people were plenty.

Curated by Krek, the show featured the works of artists from around UK (Mers, Onek, Nm, Song Oskir Derek & Skotch) who have some relation to the graffiti scene. Featuring photographs of trains, walls and underpasses, paintings, graphics on wood and careful watercolours, this show is well worth a visit.

Watch this space for a interview with Krek and Mers in the upcoming weeks.
